First Lady Remi Tinubu Honoured with Igbo Chieftaincy Title in Enugu
Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Nigeria’s First Lady, has been bestowed with the esteemed chieftaincy title of Ugosimba 1 of Enugu by the Enugu State Traditional Rulers Council. The title, which translates to "a precious jewel or eagle from another land," was conferred during her two-day official visit to the state. Chairman of the Council, Igwe Ikechukwu Asadu, explained that the honour was in recognition of her longstanding commitment to humanitarian causes, national development, and her affection for the people of Enugu.
