Afrobeats megastar and Grammy nominee Davido has announced the Nigerian leg of his ‘5IVE’ tour, marking an emotional homecoming after a successful North American run.
The tour — described by the singer as “a celebration of culture and connection” — will see Davido perform across five major Nigerian cities, reconnecting with the fans who have supported his global rise.
Sharing the news on social media, the Timeless hitmaker expressed excitement about returning to perform for his home audience.
“I’m blessed to perform all around the world, and everywhere I go, Nigeria goes with me. But this time, I’m bringing it HOME. This one’s for the culture. This one’s personal. This one’s for us,”
Davido wrote.
The heartfelt announcement quickly went viral, with fans flooding the comments section in excitement and anticipation for what promises to be one of the biggest music events of the year.
The ‘5IVE Nigeria Tour’ will kick off on October 26 in Akwa Ibom, before moving to:
Adamawa – October 29
Enugu – November 1
Ibadan – November 9
Lagos – December 25 (Christmas Day finale)
Each stop is expected to feature vibrant stagecraft, electrifying performances, and special guest appearances, culminating in a grand finale in Lagos on Christmas Day.
The tour coincides with Davido’s fifth studio album, 5IVE, released in April 2025, which includes collaborations with Becky G, Shenseea, and Odumodublvck.
From Akwa Ibom’s lively rhythms to Lagos’s festive spirit, Davido’s homecoming promises a unifying celebration of music, culture, and national pride — proving once again why he remains one of Africa’s most influential music ambassadors.
