Popular TikTok creator Odesanmi Opeyemi, widely known as Oloba Salo, has sparked widespread concern after releasing an emotional video claiming he can no longer walk following a violent attack.
In the viral clip, the social media entertainer alleged that he was shot three times by unknown assailants, leaving him partially paralysed and struggling to recover. The visibly distressed Salo mentioned several prominent figures — including Naira Marley, VeryDarkMan, and Seyi Tinubu — while pleading for justice and public support.
“They shot me three times. I can’t walk with my legs again. I’m not happy; I’m going through a lot. I bought a house in Lekki, but I can’t stay there,” he said tearfully in the video.
The video, which circulated rapidly across X, Instagram, and TikTok, drew an outpouring of sympathy from fans and fellow content creators. Many online users have called for a proper investigation into Salo’s claims and the attack that left him incapacitated.
Sources recall that Salo was shot in his car last year during a robbery incident involving unidentified gunmen. Since then, he has been battling complications that have affected his mobility.
The recent revelation has reignited discussions about the safety of Nigerian entertainers and online personalities, many of whom have reported facing threats or harassment.
As of press time, none of the individuals mentioned in Salo’s video have publicly responded to his allegations.
