Paul Onuachu breaks into European Golden Shoe top 10

Paul Onuachu has climbed into the top 10 of the European Golden Shoe rankings after an impressive scoring run with Trabzonspor this season.

The Nigerian striker has scored 21 league goals, earning 31.5 points under the competition’s coefficient system, which ranks players based on goals scored across European leagues.

He currently sits 10th, behind top names like Harry Kane, who leads the chart, as well as Kylian Mbappé and Erling Haaland.

Onuachu’s rise has been driven by a strong run of form, including 10 goals in nine matches and a streak of eight consecutive games on the scoresheet.

Despite playing in a lower-ranked league in terms of coefficient, his consistency has kept him competitive among Europe’s elite forwards. With seven matches left in the season, he still has a chance to climb higher in the rankings if he maintains his current form.
