Celine Dion has announced her return to the stage with a new concert series in Paris despite her ongoing battle with Stiff Person Syndrome.
The legendary singer revealed that she will perform at the Paris La Défense Arena from September 12 to October 14, marking a major milestone in her recovery journey.
The announcement comes almost two years after she publicly disclosed her diagnosis in December 2022. Stiff Person Syndrome is a rare neurological condition that causes severe muscle stiffness, painful spasms, and sensitivity to sound, touch, and emotional stress. Although there is currently no cure, treatments can help manage the symptoms.
In 2023, Celine Dion was forced to cancel her tour due to the condition, but she recently shared a positive health update with fans, saying she is feeling stronger, singing again, and even dancing a little.
She also thanked her supporters for their prayers and encouragement, describing the upcoming Paris shows as a special moment and saying she is excited to return to the stage and reconnect with her fans once again.
