The fan, identified as Jennifer, went online to plead with the singer to withdraw the case after allegedly receiving a lawsuit over comments she made while defending Momodu on social media. She explained that she had only been speaking up for her favourite celebrity and never intended to cause harm.

According to her, she shared a screenshot of the legal document and asked for leniency, adding that she is unable to handle a legal battle. She also posted a video from an event where she met Sophia Momodu and expressed her support publicly.
