Manager Denies Divorce Rumors Between Simi and Adekunle Gold

Reports claiming that Nigerian singer Simi and her husband, Adekunle Gold, have divorced have been denied by the couple’s manager.

The rumors originated from a document circulating on social media, which alleged that the couple’s marriage had “irretrievably broken down,” citing emotional, financial, and professional disagreements as reasons for the split.

Vincent, Simi’s manager, described the claims as false and misleading. He pointed out discrepancies in the document, including the use of the couple’s stage names, which are not legally recognized in any court of law. He also noted that the suit number listed (HCL/FC/2024/0178) appears to be backdated to 2024.

“It’s completely fabricated. Stage names cannot be used in legal proceedings, and the document contains inaccurate information,” Vincent said.

The manager emphasized that the couple remains together and that the circulated claims have no legal basis.
