English singer and songwriter Olivia Lauryn Dean has been crowned the UK’s new queen of pop after winning four awards at the Brit Awards.
The 26-year-old triumphed over major contenders including breakthrough act winner Lola Young, best rap act Dave, and best rock act Sam Fender to secure the Best British Artist award. She also clinched Best Album for her acclaimed project, The Art of Loving.
“This album is just about love and loving each other in a world that feels loveless. I don’t know if I ever really thought I’d get one [a Brit Award], but I did!” she said while accepting the honor.
Dean also took home the Best Pop Act award and delivered an elegant live performance of her song Man I Need during the ceremony, further cementing her status as one of the UK’s leading pop voices.
Her multiple wins mark a significant milestone in her career, signaling her growing influence and recognition within the global music industry.
