Popular Nollywood actress and media personality, Nancy Isime, has opened up about her stance on marriage, revealing that she feels emotionally ready to settle down and knows exactly what she wants in a life partner.

Speaking during a recent chat with TV host Morayo Afolabi-Brown, the 34-year-old actress made it clear that character, especially kindness, ranks far above money or social status when it comes to choosing a husband.

According to Isime, genuine kindness is a deal-breaker for her and not something she is willing to compromise on, stressing that it must be sincere and not done for show.

She explained that while financial stability and other qualities are important, they are things that can be built over time — but kindness is foundational.

“I am of marriage age. I’m 34. I know I’m attractive and men can desire me, but what matters is what I choose to settle for,” she said.

Nancy added that anyone hoping to get close to her, whether as a friend or a potential partner, must possess genuine compassion and empathy.

“Kindness is one of the most attractive traits to me. Not performative kindness, but real kindness. Once that is there, every other thing can be worked on.”
