Singer Qdot has shared details of a deeply traumatic experience through his latest music release, 28 of Sept, inspired by an armed robbery incident at his home in September 2025.
The artiste revealed that he was robbed at gunpoint during the incident, which left him emotionally shaken. Channeling the painful experience into music, Qdot released 28 of Sept in January 2026 as a raw and emotional reflection on what he described as the most frightening moment of his life.
In the song, Qdot recounts the ordeal, touching on themes of survival, faith, gratitude, and resilience, while expressing the fear and anxiety that followed the attack.
Speaking further, the singer disclosed that the assailants made away with his phones and laptops, emptied his bank accounts, and even gained access to his social media platforms. He admitted that the trauma has continued to affect his daily life.
In a post shared on X, Qdot revealed that he still wakes up around 2:30 a.m. every night in fear and is yet to regain peaceful sleep months after the incident. He appealed for healing and called on the government and security agencies to take stronger action to curb such crimes.
“28 of Sept is out now. Even though September 28 has passed, the trauma is still with me. I wake up every night at 2:30 a.m. in fear and can no longer sleep peacefully. I pray for healing and peace, and for stronger government action so this suffering can finally end,” he wrote.
