Lagos Daddy

Joshua Richard began his career as a child actor with the film Good Old Friends, starring alongside Uche Jumbo, before gaining widespread recognition for his role in the hit sitcom One Love, produced by Tajudeen Adepetu, where he starred for several years. Throughout his career, Joshua has continually redefined his craft, demonstrating his versatility in projects such as Tough Love, Ojukwu, What the Heart Sees, Ndani TV Phases, First Bank’s The Heart on the Line, as well as reality TV shows like IrokoTV’s “Being in Nollywood” and Showmax’s “Bae Beyond Borders”, among others. He also became one of the first IrokoTV brand ambassadors and was nominated for Best New Actor at the 2018 City People Awards. In addition to his acting achievements, Joshua is an accomplished producer, director, writer, and OAP (On Air – Personality). He produced and wrote the short films Crash & Burn and How Deep Is Your Love, the latter focusing on mental health awareness. Joshua also served as the assistant director for the film Hell Cat and has since become a published author with his short story “Undiluted”. He also goes by the name “The Lagos Daddy” on radio.
