Sophia Momodu Fires Back at Critic Over Imade’s Absence at Davido’s Birthday

Media personality Sophia Momodu has pushed back strongly against a social media user who insinuated she stopped her daughter, Imade, from attending Davido’s recent birthday celebration.

Taking to Snapchat, Sophia dismissed the claim as yet another false narrative people have tried to push for years. She noted that while she often chooses to stay calm, she will always fiercely protect her child.

According to her:

“You people have been doing this false narrative thing for over 10 years now. While I try to be as graceful as I can, I’m also a very protective mother. Say whatever you want about me, it’s fine. But leave my child alone. Imade is not a bargaining chip.”

Her reaction follows public curiosity after Imade was noticeably absent from Davido’s 33rd birthday celebration in Atlanta, which was attended by the singer’s family and friends, including his daughter Hailey.

Sophia also criticised blogs for circulating misleading stories about her daughter and hinted at possible legal steps against anyone spreading false information about Imade.
