Egypt has expressed readiness to broaden its partnership with Zimbabwe, with a focus on public broadcasting, health, agriculture, and other strategic areas of development.

According to a ZBC News report (a TV BRICS partner), the Egyptian Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Salwa Mowafi, made this known during a meeting in Harare with the Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Jenfan Muswere.

Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing bilateral ties through collaboration in healthcare, childcare, agriculture, water purification, tourism, housing development, and the modernisation of the media sector.

“These are some of the areas we are keen to work together on,” Muswere said, noting that the partnership also covers infrastructure, technical training, and strengthening public broadcasting institutions.

The discussions highlighted the shared goal of advancing political, economic, and technical cooperation between the two nations.
