Popular Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has shared a heartwarming story about how singer Naira Marley surprised her with a lavish birthday gift, despite the controversy surrounding him.

In a recently posted video, Okorie recalled how Marley stunned her with bundles of ₦500 notes during her birthday celebration. She described the gesture as deeply touching and said his encouragement was unlike anything she had experienced before.

“Naira Marley surprised me on my birthday with so much money. I was honestly shocked. The kind of encouragement he gave me, no one else ever has,” she said.

Okorie explained that their collaboration was inspired by her decision to personally thank Marley for his generous act.

“I won’t lie—Naira Marley was extremely kind to me. He’s a very quiet person and doesn’t even talk much,” she added.
