Nkechi Blessing Reveals ₦1 Million Weekly Support Prompted Her Break from Acting

Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has shed light on the reason she temporarily stepped away from the movie industry, revealing that an anonymous individual placed her on a ₦1 million weekly allowance.

Speaking on the Curiosity Made Me Ask podcast hosted by content creator Bae U Barbie, Nkechi explained that the generous offer came at a time when her work in Nollywood wasn’t financially rewarding.

“Acting wasn’t paying as much, so someone decided to support me with ₦1 million every week,” she disclosed. “I could shoot a film and not even earn up to that, so stepping away became easier.”

She emphasized the financial difficulties actors often encounter, noting that despite their popularity, many do not make substantial profits from film projects.

When asked to reveal the identity of her benefactor, Nkechi quickly dismissed the question with a blunt response: “It’s not your business.”

Her revelation has since sparked curiosity among fans, who continue to speculate about the identity of the mysterious supporter.
