In yet another remarkable achievement, Grammy nominee Ayra Starr has been crowned the No. 1 female artist across all platforms in Nigeria for 2024. This groundbreaking feat was revealed in TurnTable’s highly anticipated annual year-end chart.

As the only chart in Nigeria that aggregates data from streaming platforms, radio, and TV airplay, TurnTable’s recognition cements Ayra Starr’s place as the most commercially successful female artist of the past year.

2024 was undoubtedly a standout year for Ayra Starr, largely driven by the release of her highly anticipated sophomore album The Year I Turned 21. Featuring a stellar lineup of guest artists, including Nigerian hitmakers Asake and Seyi Vibez, as well as international stars like Giveon, Coco Jones, and Aniita, the album garnered widespread acclaim as one of the top projects of the year.

Ayra’s singles “Comma” and “Bad Vibes,” featuring Seyi Vibez, became fan favorites and were among the most streamed songs of 2024.

In a tweet celebrating her achievement, TurnTable Charts confirmed that Ayra Starr had secured the No. 1 spot for the third consecutive year, after also topping the charts in 2022 and 2023.

The album also made waves on Spotify, becoming the most-streamed album of 2024 with an impressive 700 million streams. This success was further fueled by her collaboration on Rvssian’s “Santa,” which helped keep Ayra at the forefront of global music trends.

Ayra wrapped up the year with a headline performance at Flytime Fest, where she was joined by heavyweights Tiwa Savage and Rema, showcasing her status as a top-tier artist.

Topping TurnTable’s year-end chart for the third year in a row is a clear testament to Ayra Starr’s unwavering dominance in the Nigerian music scene and her undeniable rise to becoming an international superstar.
