Street pop sensation Portable has shown his support for Burna Boy amid the ongoing social media drama between the Afro-fusion star and businessman Cubana Chief Priest.

In a recent Instagram story post, Portable made it clear where his allegiance lies, backing Burna Boy with a powerful tribute. The “Zazuu” crooner referred to Burna Boy as a force to be reckoned with, declaring him “bigger than them” and praising his strength.

“1 man na 7 man you big pass them,” Portable wrote in pidgin English, further emphasizing Burna Boy’s unique power.

The singer, known for his bold persona, also threw a jab at the “fake life” culture in the industry, responding to Burna Boy’s earlier message calling out his colleagues for pretending to live extravagant lifestyles. Portable made it clear that he stands firm in his authenticity, declaring, “Zazuu no fake life, no scam life, Akoi Grace. If you wan know the real about the top ask me I follow dey at the top. Only God I never see. Who is big is big.”

The two artists, both no strangers to controversy, seem to share a mutual respect for staying true to themselves in an often shallow industry. As they both enter 2025 with dramatic flair, Portable recently found himself embroiled in a setback, being barred from performing at a Taye Currency concert in Ibadan due to safety concerns following his inflammatory remarks about the city.

It looks like Portable is ready to ride with Burna Boy, someone he sees as a “real one” in the music scene.
