BBNaija’s Hermes confirms death of his mother

Big Brother Naija alumnus Hermes Iyele has announced the heartbreaking news of his mother Isioma’s passing. He shared the tragic update on social media, writing, “It is with the heaviest of hearts that I’d like to make public the passing of my beloved mum, ISIOMA PHEBIAN IYELE, on the 5th of November 2024. I’m sharing this so I can begin my grieving process and also because I currently lack the strength—mentally and financially—to handle everything. Please pray for my siblings and me. We’d appreciate your support in every way possible.”

Hermes explained that he received the news while on a work trip, which greatly affected him. He also requested understanding from his followers, asking for patience as he navigates this difficult time. “I’m currently on a work trip and received the news while traveling. I’m doing my best to fulfill my duties here while also managing everything that needs to be done regarding this tragedy. Please be patient with me, as I won’t be able to respond to calls or messages right now. We’ll begin the burial process as soon as I’m back.”
