Wizkid, Ayra Starr shine at 2026 MOBO Awards

Nigerian stars Wizkid and Ayra Starr were among the biggest winners at the 2026 MOBO Awards held in Manchester.

Wizkid clinched the Best African Music Act, beating top contenders like Davido, Rema, and Tiwa Savage.

Ayra Starr also had a standout night, winning Best International Act, ahead of global names such as Cardi B and Gunna.

Other Nigerian winners included:

• P2J – Best Producer
• DC3 – Best Newcomer & Best Gospel Act

The event, held in Manchester for the first time, celebrated Black music and culture globally, with Nigerian artists once again making a strong impact on the international stage.
