Funke Akindele has shared a candid reflection about her personality, admitting she can be emotionally intense—loving deeply but also cutting people off quickly when necessary.

Speaking on The Morayo Show, she acknowledged this trait as both a strength and a flaw, stressing the need to find balance. According to her, she’s actively working on becoming more patient and less reactive, especially in relationships and leadership roles.

She credited Uzee Usman for helping her see things differently. His advice pushed her to reflect on how she handles conflicts and interactions with people, particularly in the entertainment industry.

Funke also spoke about her late mother’s influence, noting that she was often advised to “calm down” despite her strong personality. That guidance, she said, still shapes how she tries to manage her emotions today.

She emphasised that while relationships matter a lot to her, protecting her mental health now comes first.

This revelation comes shortly after the viral moment involving Toyin Abraham at a movie premiere, which sparked conversations online about her interactions and personal boundaries.
