Barcelona returned to winning ways in La Liga with a commanding 3–0 victory over Levante at Spotify Camp Nou on Sunday, ending a two-game losing streak and preserving their flawless home record against the visitors.
Teenage midfielder Marc Bernal opened the scoring in the 4th minute, converting a pinpoint cross from Eric García to register his second goal in three matches.
Frenkie de Jong doubled Barcelona’s advantage in the 32nd minute, calmly side-footing home from a clever assist by João Cancelo — his first goal for the club in over a year.
Substitute Fermín López put the result beyond doubt in the 81st minute, unleashing a powerful 20-yard strike that beat Levante goalkeeper Mathew Ryan.
Despite controlling the match, Barcelona’s high defensive line allowed Levante glimpses of goal. Goalkeeper Joan García produced key saves to deny Carlos Álvarez and Jon Olasagasti, while Ryan’s double save prevented a heavier defeat.
The victory allowed Barcelona to capitalize on Real Madrid’s shock loss to Osasuna, reclaiming top spot in the La Liga standings. The result also extended Barcelona’s remarkable home run against Levante to 18 consecutive wins at Camp Nou.
