Simi Celebrates Adekunle Gold as He Marks His Birthday

Nigerian singer Simi has taken to social media to celebrate her husband, Adekunle Gold, as he marks his birthday.

Sharing a heartfelt message on her Instagram page, the songstress affectionately referred to him as her “baby, love, husband, impregnator, and man,” while reminding him how deeply loved he is by his family.

Alongside the message, Simi also posted an adorable video of their daughter, Deja, reciting a poem for her father, melting the hearts of fans online.

Don’t ever forget it. Happy birthday, baby,” she wrote.

This isn’t the first time Simi has publicly expressed her love for Adekunle Gold. Last year, she penned a touching note recalling the early days of their relationship and how she gradually realised how deeply she cared for him. She noted that he deserves nothing but the best.

Adekunle Gold reciprocated at the time, sharing memories of their first meeting and reflecting on how far they’ve come. He described Simi as his home, his biggest supporter, and the most beautiful part of his life’s journey.

Just a week ago, the couple celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary. Adekunle Gold marked the milestone by describing Simi as his best friend, saying that each year of marriage has been gentler and that loving her remains the easiest decision of his life.

Simi also reaffirmed her love, stating that even after seven years, Adekunle is still “the one,” thanking him for the joy, peace, and stability he brings to her life.

In December, the power couple announced they were expecting another child in a video shared on their YouTube channel, with Simi proudly showing off her baby bump alongside Adekunle and their daughter. Shortly after, Adekunle revealed on Snapchat that they had welcomed twins, describing the blessing as an answered prayer.
