Double Joy for Adekunle Gold and Simi as Couple Welcome Twins

There is excitement in the Nigerian entertainment scene as singer Adekunle Gold and his wife, Simi, have welcomed twins, adding two new members to their family.

The happy news was shared by Adekunle Gold himself via Snapchat, where he revealed that his prayer for another child was answered in an even bigger way.

“I asked God for another child and He blessed me double,” the singer wrote.

From Pregnancy Reveal to Double Blessing

In December, Simi had confirmed she was expecting their second child through a video shared on their YouTube channel. The clip showed her proudly displaying her baby bump alongside Adekunle Gold and their daughter, Deja, sparking excitement among fans.

At the time, many assumed the couple were preparing to welcome one child  making the arrival of twins a joyful surprise.

A Strong Love Story

Adekunle Gold and Simi recently marked their sixth wedding anniversary in January, with both artists sharing heartfelt messages about their journey together.

Adekunle described Simi as his greatest blessing, his peace, and his partner in everything, adding that every day with her feels like a gift.
Simi, in return, praised him for always making her laugh and called him the best man she knows.

The couple got married in 2019 and welcomed their first child, Deja, in 2020.

In a previous interview, Simi revealed that she never planned to marry a fellow musician and was unaware Adekunle Gold was a singer when they first met — a story that has since become one of the most loved in Nigerian pop culture.
