Toke Makinwa Celebrates Daughter Yakira at 4 Months: “I’ll Go to the Ends of the World for You”

Media personality Toke Makinwa is in full celebration mode as her daughter, Yakira, clocks four months today.

Sharing adorable cropped photos of her little girl on Instagram, Toke poured out her heart with an emotional message. She described Yakira as her “sweet child” and reflected on how far they’ve come since her birth, noting that God has been present with them through every step.

According to her, their journey together feels divinely orchestrated, and becoming a mother has taught her a new level of faith  simple, trusting, and deeply grounding.

“Sweet child of mine, we made it! God has been with us each step of the way; He ordained for our paths to cross on this side of eternity,” she wrote. “You’re teaching me so much. I’ll go to the ends of the world for you.”

Toke went on to express gratitude for the cuddles, heart-melting smiles, and the soulful stare that connects them deeply. She also thanked her daughter for “choosing” her, marking four months of pure joy.

The proud mom welcomed Yakira Eliana in August at the age of 40  a moment she has described in past posts as the fulfillment of a long-held prayer. In November, she dedicated her baby to God in a star-studded ceremony attended by friends, celebrities, and close family.

Toke has been open about her emotional journey into motherhood, even revealing in a previous episode of her podcast that she had asked God to let her turn 40 as a mother  and got pregnant the month after her birthday.
