Oliseh confirms Madrid interest in Osimhen

Former Super Eagles captain Sunday Oliseh has revealed that Real Madrid’s interest in signing Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is not just speculation but based on solid internal discussions.

Osimhen, now starring at Galatasaray, has been in sensational form  winning the league and cup double last season and currently dominating the Champions League with six goals in three matches.

Speaking on the Global Football Insight Podcast, Oliseh said Madrid see Osimhen as a natural fit for their attack, potentially allowing Mbappé to shift back to his favourite left-wing role. Although he didn’t reveal his source, he hinted that the information came from a highly placed figure.

If the move happens, Madrid will need to meet Galatasaray’s asking price, expected to exceed €100 million, plus a wage package of over €20 million per year for the Nigerian forward.
