“We all go through something heavy” – Rapper Ikechukwu says as he declares full support for 2baba amid marital drama

Nigerian rapper and actor Ikechukwu Onunaku has thrown his weight behind music legend 2Baba, following the growing controversy surrounding the singer’s relationship issues.

Taking to Instagram, Ikechukwu reminded the public that everyone faces difficult battles—some privately, others in full view of the world. Despite the noise and divided opinions, he made it clear that his loyalty to 2Baba remains firm.

Calling the singer his brother, he expressed confidence that the turbulent period would eventually pass.

“We all go through something heavy  some privately, some publicly. No matter the opinions or judgments, right or wrong, I stand with my bro @official2baba.
This too shall pass. God’s got you.
And when it does, we go celebrate,” he wrote.

Ikechukwu’s post comes shortly after Kaka, a former staff member of 2Baba, spoke with media personality Daddy Freeze, alleging that 2Baba’s partner, Natasha, has been a stumbling block to the singer’s growth.

According to him, Natasha exercised psychological control over the music star, often limiting his progress. He claimed that 2Baba only voiced his frustrations while outside Nigeria and that her insecurity over his success created tension. Kaka said he eventually distanced himself from them because he felt Natasha’s actions were damaging the singer’s career.

This revelation followed a heated Instagram Live session, where 2Baba briefly joined to address the claims but exited abruptly after a verbal confrontation with Natasha — heightening public concerns.

Just hours earlier, videos surfaced online showing the moment 2Baba was handcuffed and detained in the UK in October after an altercation with Natasha, adding another layer to the chaotic situation.
