“Help me” 2Baba Sends Alarming Message as Nigerians React

Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has sparked concern after posting a short but troubling message online. The singer, in a now-deleted update, simply wrote:

“Help me.”

The post immediately set social media on fire, with fans and celebrities expressing worry and calling for intervention.

Reactions quickly poured in:

Some blamed his current relationship, with one user writing, “Baba don marry bandit, she don tie him inside.”

This wave of reactions follows a series of allegations made by Kaka, a former staff member of the singer, during an interview with Daddy Freeze. Kaka accused 2Baba’s partner, Natasha, of emotionally manipulating him and stifling his career growth. He revealed he cut ties with the couple because he believed the relationship was becoming damaging.

Earlier, 2Baba’s brother, Hyacinth Idibia, publicly appealed to the singer, urging him to let the family “save him,” claiming he had been silently enduring too much.

Rapper and actor Ikechukwu also expressed support, saying everyone battles private struggles and assuring the singer that “this too shall pass.”

But not everyone was sympathetic. BBNaija star Leo DaSilva’s wife, Mariam Laushi, mocked 2Baba, accusing him of leaving Annie Idibia only to end up in what she described as a toxic relationship.

Media personality Daddy Freeze revealed that a recent Instagram Live session with the couple left him shaken. According to him, the experience was “scary,” and he urged close friends and family to step in before things escalate.

This drama also resurfaces a past plea from 2Baba’s mother, Rose, who once begged Natasha to remove certain beads she placed on the singer, claiming he was not in the right state of mind while going through a divorce from Annie.

His younger brother, Charles Idibia, delivered an even stronger warning, saying his brother had jumped from “the frying pan into an industrial furnace,” insisting that Natasha was manipulating him.

As concerns grow online, fans and loved ones are waiting for an official update on the singer’s wellbeing.
