Karim Benzema has got football fans talking again after hinting that a return to Real Madrid might be on the table.

In a post shared by Fabrizio Romano on X, the Al Ittihad striker made it clear that his heart still beats for the Spanish giants.

Benzema said:
“If Florentino is still there, it could happen. I could never say no to Pérez. I’m a Madridista… I feel it in my soul. Madrid is still my city. We’ll see what happens.”

The Frenchman, who has a contract with Al Ittihad until June 2026, didn’t give a definite answer about his future in Saudi Arabia, adding:
“I don’t know if I’ll leave Al Ittihad or stay. It depends on many factors… let’s see what happens.”

With over 300 goals and a trophy-packed career at Real Madrid, Benzema remains a legend at the Bernabéu — so the thought of a reunion has already sparked excitement among fans.

He also defended Vinícius Júnior amid ongoing criticism, urging people to remember the Brazilian’s huge impact on the team.
According to him:
“Don’t forget what Vini Jr did for Real Madrid… he’s a very good kid with a big heart. People put a lot of pressure on him.”

Despite the heavy scrutiny around Vinícius’ form this season, Real Madrid insiders remain confident in his ability to rise above the noise and keep delivering for the team.
