A touching video has captured the heartwarming moment Super Falcons star Michelle Alozie gifted a young fan her football boots in Abeokuta, ahead of Nigeria’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifier against Benin Republic.

The gesture took place before the team’s match, where the Super Falcons had already gained a solid advantage with a 2–0 away win over Benin Republic at the Stade de Kégué in Lomé, Togo, on October 24, 2025. Goals from Chinwendu Ihezuo and Esther Okoronkwo sealed Nigeria’s first-leg victory.

The return leg is scheduled for October 28, 2025, at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, where the Falcons need only a draw — or even a narrow defeat — to progress to the next round of the 2026 WAFCON qualifiers.

Ahead of the much-anticipated home clash, Alozie melted hearts when she approached a 9-year-old girl, one of her biggest fans, and handed her a pair of her boots. After a brief conversation with the young fan’s father, the defender presented the boots and shared a photo moment with the emotional child, who proudly held them up.
