Popular Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has advised single women to prioritize personal development and self-sufficiency before aspiring to marry rich or caring men.

In a recent post on his X handle, Arukwe, known for his dynamic acting skills, emphasized that genuine and responsible men are naturally attracted to hardworking, confident, and independent women.

He noted that women who build their skills, careers, and personal value are more likely to attract partners who appreciate and support them. According to him, relying solely on the dream of marrying a wealthy man without establishing one’s own stability is unrealistic in today’s world.

“Build value for yourself first, and your Odogwu will find you,” Arukwe wrote, encouraging women to invest in self-improvement before seeking relationships.

Inspired by His Role in ‘Love In Every World 2’
The actor’s message was inspired by reactions to his portrayal of Odogwu, a wealthy and affectionate character in the film Love In Every World 2. Many fans took to social media to describe Odogwu as their “ideal man.”

Arukwe, however, reminded his followers that Odogwu’s love interest, Chioma (played by Bambam), was already a strong and industrious woman before meeting him. He explained that Odogwu admired her for her ambition and drive, which made their relationship mutually fulfilling.

“The billionaire didn’t need to ask what she brought to the table—it was obvious,” Arukwe said, stressing that true partnerships thrive on mutual respect and shared value rather than dependency.

Promoting Value and Balance in Relationships
His remarks have generated widespread discussion online, with many praising his realistic perspective on love and modern relationships.

Arukwe further emphasized that marriage should not be viewed as an escape route to comfort or wealth, but as a partnership between two capable and purposeful individuals.

In a social media culture that often glorifies materialism in relationships, his message stands out as a call for balance, self-worth, and genuine connection.
