Popular content creator and streamer Peller has credited Nathaniel Bassey’s Hallelujah Challenge for a sudden breakthrough after earning 11 million coins (about $143,000 or ₦213 million) during a TikTok live session that lasted just five minutes.

In a viral post on social media, Peller celebrated the moment, describing it as nothing short of miraculous. He revealed that he had joined Bassey’s Hallelujah Challenge—a nightly worship and prayer session—only the night before the massive earnings came in.

“Hallelujah Challenge dey work! God bless Nathaniel Bassey,” Peller said excitedly while recounting the experience. “I come your church yesterday night. I text you for Instagram live…”

During the TikTok live, Peller reportedly competed in an “official match” and raked in over 11 million virtual coins, which TikTok users send as gifts. However, observers noted that the platform typically takes around 50% of creators’ total earnings.

Gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey, who leads the annual Hallelujah Challenge, has inspired millions across Nigeria and beyond through midnight worship sessions streamed on social media.

Meanwhile, entertainment blog Africa Facts highlighted the streamer’s feat, calling Peller “Africa’s biggest streamer” after the impressive performance, which attracted over 121,000 live viewers.

The visibly overjoyed influencer ended his post with a prayer of gratitude for Nathaniel Bassey, saying the challenge had clearly opened doors for him.
