Controversial Nigerian clergyman, Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje, has revealed that he foresaw the passing of renowned preacher Reverend Uma Ukpai before it occurred.
Speaking during a recent church service, Odumeje told his congregation that he had received a divine vision indicating that “a great man was about to go.”
According to him, he had earlier informed one of his pastors about the vision and later placed a call to Rev. Uma Ukpai earlier in the year, during which they had a brief conversation. However, Odumeje did not specify whether he disclosed the vision to the late evangelist during their discussion.
“I told one of my pastors that a great man was about to go. I even spoke with Daddy Uma Ukpai earlier this year. That was the first time something like that ever happened to me,” he said.
Odumeje’s revelation has since sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some users expressing skepticism about his claims.
One user, @victoronwordi, commented:
“Uma had been sick for a long time, and for his age, he should know God gave him extra time to repent. Odumeje and others should obey God’s law.”
Another user, @MarioJordans, wrote:
“You didn’t see anything; it was only Ebuka who saw his death.”
Meanwhile, @Emmagold reacted humorously, saying:
“Emma Upkai ke?”
Reverend Uma Ukpai, a respected evangelist and founder of the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, passed away recently, marking the end of a decades-long ministry that impacted millions across Nigeria and beyond.
