Seyi Tinubu, son of Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has reportedly donated ₦20 million to Nollywood actress Sarah Martins after her viral confrontation with officers of the Lagos State Task Force (KAI).
According to reports, Sarah Martins was distributing free meals to the less privileged in the Lekki area when task force officials allegedly stopped and harassed her team, disrupting the outreach and seizing her equipment.
The actress, known for her humanitarian efforts, shared a tearful video on social media recounting the incident, which quickly gained public attention and sparked outrage among Nigerians who criticized the officials’ actions.
Touched by her experience, Seyi Tinubu reached out through his aides and offered Sarah ₦20 million to support her charitable work and encourage her continued community service.
The gesture has earned him widespread praise, with many commending his compassion and generosity.
Expressing her gratitude online, Sarah Martins described the gift as “a disgrace turned into grace,” saying it would enable her to expand her outreach and continue serving vulnerable communities.
What began as a distressing encounter has now evolved into a story of kindness and hope, highlighting the importance of empathy and support for social good initiatives.
