2Baba Debunks London Arrest Rumours, Explains Absence from UK Tour

Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has dismissed viral reports claiming he was arrested in London after an alleged altercation with his wife, Natasha Osawaru.

The speculation, first fueled by controversial blogger Tosin Silverdam, alleged that 2Baba’s no-show at his scheduled UK tour on October 2, 2025, was linked to a domestic dispute that ended in his arrest. Fans reportedly abandoned the event in disappointment.

In a video shared online, however, 2Baba appeared alongside Natasha and close associates to debunk the claims, insisting that his absence was due to health reasons, not any marital clash.

One of his associates could even be heard joking: “Oh boy, dem don alleged you. Allegedly, dem say you wey dey here, allegedly, dem don alleged you.”

Addressing fans directly, the singer explained:

“First of all, I want to say everyone that came out, I appreciate you. We had a medical emergency, it was tough. To the organizers and everyone that came out, we go regroup and make something beautiful happen. And please, if una no sabi something, make una no talk abeg. This allegedly, I don tire.”

The clarification appears to have eased concerns among fans, many of whom expressed relief at seeing 2Baba healthy and standing beside his wife.
