Popular comedian Emmanuel Iwueke, better known as Craze Clown, has voiced his anger after a close friend allegedly squandered millions of naira entrusted to him for a visa application process.
According to Craze Clown, the individual had pleaded with him to transfer funds into their account in order to strengthen their statement of account—a key requirement for visa processing.
When it was time to return the money, Craze Clown said he was shocked to learn that his friend had allegedly used the funds for gambling in hopes of doubling it, only to lose everything.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the skit maker expressed his frustration:
“You beg me make I send money to your account in millions make you use do statement of account for your visa process. After a month, oya send me my money, you come dey explain say you try double the money for gamble come loser everything! 😡 Wetin make I do with that information?”
The revelation quickly went viral, with many fans sympathizing with Craze Clown while condemning the recklessness of the unnamed friend. Some described it as a cautionary tale about trusting people with large sums of money, while others pointed to the growing dangers of gambling addiction.
