Social media critic VeryDarkMan has sparked fresh controversy with the release of a diss track taking shots at Edo State Governor Monday Okpabelo, street singer Portable, and clergyman Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin.
The track, released on July 23, 2025, ridicules Governor Okpabelo over his alleged poor WAEC results, which recently surfaced online. “E8, WAEC result of a governor. INEC, shame on you,” VDM rapped.
He also mocked Portable, referencing their ongoing feud following allegations of tricycle theft, which led to the singer being assaulted.
Additionally, VDM threw jabs at Prophet Fufeyin, criticising his controversial ‘miracle products’—including soap, water, and perfume—claiming they exploit desperate believers. The cleric had previously slammed VDM with a ₦1 billion defamation lawsuit, accusing him of tarnishing his reputation and embarrassing church members.
Fans React:
“VDM adding music to his activism? This go loud!” – Sirlonto Sticks
“Portable fit jump on this just to trend again!”– Ojumat
“Best music of the year… my body dey sweet me!” – Cecilia Onyebuke
