Nigerian street-hop artist Portable has fired back at fellow singer Bella Shmurda following remarks made during a recent podcast appearance.

Bella Shmurda, while speaking on the Curiosity Made Me Ask podcast hosted by Isbae U, was asked whether he would consider collaborating with Portable. In response, Bella said he didn’t see a musical connection between their styles and added that he preferred to avoid unnecessary drama.

The comment did not sit well with Portable, who promptly responded with a fiery video posted online. In the clip, the *Zazuu Zeh* crooner criticized Bella, asserting that he is more accomplished and globally recognized.

“Anytime you do interview, don’t mention my name,” Portable warned. “You say you can’t feature me? I’ve been to America, London. It’s not about who became famous first, it’s about who’s still making waves. You can’t compare yourself to me — you’re a failure.”

Portable went further, alleging that he does not associate with what he called “failed artists,” seemingly referring to Bella’s music style and career.

The video quickly sparked conversation online, with fans and observers weighing in on the ongoing tension:

* @2thewurldd wrote: “Saying you don’t want wahala is still wahala to Portable.”
* @horlumedy commented: “Baddo (Olamide) really planted seeds of trouble in this industry.”
* @Adeomo\_ola stated: “Portable will never stay silent when anyone mentions his name. That’s his lifestyle.”
* @kropelgrada added: “Honestly, Portable is currently more relevant and popular than Bella Shmurda.”

Despite the clash, some fans noted that both artists cater to different audiences and musical styles, and a collaboration may not be necessary for either to succeed.
