Dolly Parton’s Husband Carl Dean Dead at 82

Dolly Parton is saying goodbye to her fiercest supporter.

The legendary country singer’s husband of 58 years, Carl Dean, died March 3 in Nashville, she announced on social media. He was 82.

“Carl and I spent many wonderful years together,” Parton said in a statement shared on X ( formerly Twitter) “Words can’t do justice to the love we shared for over 60 years. Thank you for your prayers and sympathy.”

Dean,who married the music icon in 1966 will be laid to rest in an intimate gathering attended by immediate family members, according to the post.
