Cardinal Foundation, a transformative initiative led by Mrs. Doja Allen, the MD/CEO of City FM and subsidiary of Cardinal Broadcasting Limited, has announced the highly anticipated comeback of Olajumoke Orisaguna, the model and social media sensation who captured the hearts of Nigerians and beyond in 2016. The foundation, dedicated to empowering and uplifting the underprivileged, is now embarking on a mission to help Olajumoke rebuild her life, with a focus on education, personal growth, and renewed opportunities.
Olajumoke rose to prominence in 2016 when she photobombed a photo session of British rapper Tinie Tempah, taken by Nigerian photographer TY Bello. Her unexpected appearance in the photograph led to numerous endorsement deals and modeling opportunities.
Speaking at a press conference on the “Comeback of Olajumoke (Oni Bredi)” yesterday, Adedoja Allen emphasized that the foundation is providing Olajumoke with the necessary tools and opportunities to rebuild her life. These include resuming her formal education and undergoing training at City Media Academy, where she will learn skills in radio presentation, news production, and digital content creation.
Under Cardinal Foundation’s mentorship program, Olajumoke will receive support from educators, business leaders, and counselors, with a focus on key life skills such as financial literacy, well-being, and personal development. The first step in her revitalization will see her return to formal education, a crucial foundation for her long-term success and empowerment.
Olajumoke’s enthusiasm and dedication have been nothing short of inspiring, and she is now poised to host her own talk show, Kilon Shele, every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m on City105.1FM The show will provide a platform for her to engage with her audience, sharing her journey and inspiring others who may feel hopeless or stuck in their own circumstances.
During the event, Olajumoke shared her journey and reflected on the challenges she faced despite landing major endorsement deals. She expressed gratitude to those who supported her throughout her journey.
“I thank Azuka Ogujiuba, who took me in like a child and continues to support me. I also thank TY Bello for ensuring that I wouldn’t go back to the bakery to sell bread. The duo has always been there for me, and I’m truly grateful. I also appreciate Adedoja Allen for her financial and emotional support. I’m thankful to Stanbic IBTC for paying my children’s school fees and to everyone who has helped me since 2016,” she said.
