Rema Arrives In Benin In Anticipation Of The Homecoming Concert

Afrobeats star Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has returned to his hometown of Benin, Edo State, to prepare for his highly anticipated homecoming concert.

Rema’s record label, Mavin Records, shared a video of his arrival on X.

Rema first gained widespread attention in 2018 with a viral freestyle on Instagram to D’Prince’s track “Gucci Gang.” He officially launched his music career in 2019 with his debut single, “Dumebi,” and has since become a major figure in the Afrobeats genre, winning fans both locally and globally.

The eagerly awaited concert is scheduled for August 30 at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium. The “Ozeba” singer announced the event in July, sparking great excitement among fans.
