Former Miss South Africa finalist Chidimma Adetshina has returned to Lagos for the first time in 20 years to compete in the upcoming Miss Universe Nigeria pageant. Chidimma, who arrived from Cape Town on Wednesday, August 21, was warmly welcomed upon her arrival.
The 23-year-old model, who withdrew from Miss South Africa due to a nationality dispute, expressed her excitement about being back in Nigeria for the first time in two decades.
Representing Taraba State, she said she is eager to explore the country during her stay and participate in the Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 pageant on August 31.
Besides her modeling career, Adetshina is also a law student and plans to continue her education after the pageant. She expressed her gratitude for the warm reception and is looking forward to her journey in Nigeria.
