D’BANJ ANNOUNCES RELEASE DATE FOR HIS NEW ALBUM
Veteran artist Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, widely known as D’banj, has revealed that his fifth album, *Entertainer 2.0*, will be released on August 16th. He announced the date in a teaser that featured actor Gideon Okeke and included a cameo by Don Jazzy, his long-time associate and co-founder of Mo’hits.
For his upcoming album, D’banj has enlisted a range of stars, including international talents such as Wyclef Jean, Congolese legend Awilo Logomba, Senegalese Youssou N’Dour, American superstar Akon, South African DJ Maphorisa, and NBC’s *The Voice* star Chechi Sarai. Nigerian artists Phyno, Timaya, Kayswitch, Zlatan, Peruzzi, Bhadboi Oml, and Chuchu Lee will also be featured.
Ahead of the album’s release, D’banj has dropped a new single titled “Worthy,” featuring Youssou N’Dour and Chechi Sarai. Released on July 19, the single provides a preview of what fans can expect from the upcoming album.
