ASAKE TEASES NEW ALBUM WITH TRACKLIST

Nigerian superstar Asake has thrilled fans with the announcement of his upcoming album, set to be released on the 9th of August, 2024. The Grammy-nominated artist shared the news on June 10, 2024, via social media, along with the dates for his ‘Lungu Boy World Tour.’ This album will be Asake’s third so far, following his Headies Album of the Year winning debut- ‘Mr Money With The Vibes’ in 2022 and his successful sophomore effort ‘Work of Art’ in 2023.

The ‘Lungu Boy World Tour’, produced by Live Nation, kicked off on June 26, 2024, at Afro Nation, Portugal. The tour introduces performances at major festivals like Wireless Festival in London and Afro Nation Detroit and will take Asake to major arenas such as Atlanta’s State Farm Arena and New York City’s Madison Square Garden. The tour is scheduled to conclude at Promiseland Festival in Goald Coast on October 6th.

In 2024, Asake has made several guest appearances, collaborating with artists like Zlatan on ‘Bust Down’, Victony on ‘Stubborn’, Ayra Starr on ‘Goodbye’ from her album ‘The Year I Turned 21’, and Tems on ‘Get It Right’ from her debut album ‘Born In The Wild’. Additionally, Asake recently performed his hit track ‘Lonely At The Top’ from his album ‘Work of Art’ on The Late Show, and won the Best Music Africa Act at the 26th MOBO Awards.
