The finale began with a powerful performance by the top 10 contestants, who took to the stage to deliver John Legend’s “Glory.” The evening’s lineup featured special performances from Progress, the winner of Nigerian Idol Season 7, and Victory Gbakara, the Season 8 champion, who performed an original piece written before his season’s finale.
